This was an amazing tour and Jeff was such an amazing guide! We were a group of 14, but he went out of his way to make the process as seamless as possible despite taking on a larger group than normal. There was even a hilariously decorated bike for my partner’s birthday! The food was fabulous and Jeff told us so many interesting facts about the history and culture while eating. The last stop had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River while ate our po boys on some benches outside. If you want a fun tour of the beautiful neighborhoods while getting to experience good food as a local instead of a tourist, I would 100% recommend this experience, and tell Jeff we said hi!

Brian was a great guide. He is both an author and a lover of history, and we learned a lot about New Orleans and the French Quarter during our time with him. The Sidewalk Food Tours team gave us input into the foods and locations we would visit, and the process for a private tour was flexible on timing as well. It was just the kind of intro to the Quarter that we were seeking. There is one change I would make with a do-over… I would evaluate the food options for both French Quarter and Garden District before making a decision on which tour to book. There could be more variety of options in the Garden tour. While Gumbo and Jambalaya have some significant differences, they are also very similar, and combining them in two hours is kind of heavy on rice, chicken and andouille sausage.

First and foremost, the food! ❤️ Our tour guide, Mark, curated the most delightful selection of dishes that gave us such a wonderful taste of New Orleans! Every stop was delicious, but what made the experience truly special was Mark himself. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and culinary culture of New Orleans, but went above and beyond by teaching us about the history, traditions, and Southern culture woven into the city’s food. We had a fabulous E bike tour around New Orleans with Adam as our amazing tour guide. Adam was full of great stories and knowledge, a lot of information that was new to all of us, and was very interesting.
