It is a very humbling experience to hear and be in the same grounds and my ancestors and to experience what life was like during that time. Truly an eye opener for me and my wife. The beauty of the plantation is something worth seeing. Our tour guides Mrs Beverly and Mrs Ann were fantastic guides and are full of a lot of knowledge. They made the tour that much more special.

Great experience to learn about the in’s and out’s of the French Quarter and New Orleans as a whole. We had a group of all ages and the tour guide accommodated to everyone. The tour was not boring at all! We learned so much and laughed a lot. Definitely worth the price for anyone wanting a private tour instead of a public tour. The company employees were all extremely kind and helpful. Looking forward to attending another tour with them on our next trip.

This tour led by Cassandra Snyder was superlative in every way. We were lucky enough to have her for our guide on the initial tour that Atlas Obscura ran in New Orleans. The four days with Cassandra were spent seeing sights throughout the city, spending time with artists, visiting cultural venues and eating some of NOLA’s special foods. She has a impressive depth of knowledge about all things NOLA and her enthusiasm and love for this remarkable city is to be commended very highly. She knows many local artists and musicians and participates in events like Mardi Gras parades. A tour with her is a must when you visit The Crescent City!
