We had never booked tours before, so we just hoped for the best… and honestly, our only complaint is that this one set the bar way too high for every other tour now.Morgan kept not only my husband and I completely engaged, but somehow even got the teens to take their headphones off and actually enjoy the experience too (which is no easy feat).This did not feel like a “this is a cool topic, let’s throw together a tour and make money” kind of experience. It felt like being guided by people who are genuinely passionate about sharing stories, history, and the people behind them. You could feel how much they cared, and it made the whole experience unforgettable.

My family and I really enjoyed this tour! Meeting place was easy to find. Mikko was an excellent guide. He had an impressive knowledge of the history of the French Quarter, making this tour interesting and fun. We also appreciated his sense of humor. We covered a lot of topics (history, pirates, disease, voodoo, etc.). The pace was good (although we could have gone faster to see additional points of interest since it was only my family). I believe that all of the road construction had an impact on the number of points of interest we saw because we had to walk around areas that were blocked off. That is not the fault of the guide or the tour operator; it is just a simple fact of life with city road construction. The tour time was good as we finished at dinner time.

Take this tour early in your trip so that you can go back and eat at the restaurants.
The food was amazing. I tried food that I didn’t think I would like just to say I tried it, and ended up eating the whole thing because it was so delicious. It is a ton of food, make sure you are really hungry. Go early in your trip so that you can come back to some of the restaurants. We went the day before we were leaving and we all regret that. We wish we would have done it the first day so we could have gone back to the area to eat. We would go back and eat at every single stop we made, plus there were other restaurants we passed that we did not stop at that looked amazing and we wish we would have been able to eat at. There is plenty of free parking in the area. We took an Uber to the tour and back, but wish we would have driven ourselves from the hotel. We could have saved ourselves some money. Our guide was funny and very knowledgeable of the area. I would take this tour again the next time we come to New Orleans. We had crawfish empanadas, red beans and rice balls, catfish po boys, pralines, fried oysters, eggplant with crab, bread pudding, and an amazing pizza.

We went to New Orleans on October 14th from Los Angeles and heard MANY great reviews about this group, so me and my family took the leap. The night was VERY eventful before it even started. We were talking to our guide, and some random intoxicated guy punched out the window in front of us! Our guide ran out there and I thought he was gonna fight the guy! Props to our guide though, Chris is legit at hell! So we went to the Andrew Jackson Hotel and got some AMAZING evidence, including a spirit that manifested on the XLS monitor! All the equipment that we used, Chris explained in thorough detail! I also got some INCREDIBLE audio evidence from an audio program that Chris played on a computer, from one of my relatives! It was an INCREDIBLE moment, Chris, YOU ARE AWESOME, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO!

What a fabulous tour. Girlfriends and I had the best time. Marc was a wonderful guide - easy, relaxed, knowledgable of the art scene in NOLA and its history. We stopped at various galleries and met several artists, stopped at some insta-worthy street art locations for photos, then coffee. Marc was flexible and totally willing to go with our flow. We’ll do it again on our next trip to NOLA!
