Beyond the French Quarter did an outstanding job and thought of everything to make our experience memorable. It was an easy Lyft ride from downtown and an interesting ride outside the city seeing another side of the Bayou. Chef Pipp was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and we felt like we were in good hands navigating into the wild life area as he pointed out all of the birds we had never seen before and pointing out the alligators swimming around. My husband had fun helping chop the food and pull up the crab pots for the seafood boil. It was amazing! Delicious!! There was a very nice assortment of beverage available for us to purchase, which made the whole experience easy and fun for us to sit back, relax and enjoy the cool vibe they've got set up right on the water. We would actually do it again, which is rarely the case for our Cool Broadway experiences which tend more to be one time deals. We highly recommend. THANKS CAPTAIN PIPP!!

I booked the plantation tour with Tours By Isabelle because it was one of the only ones to offer tours in French. Isabelle was very clear in her explanations before and after the booking and was always available via WhatsApp; it is a guarantee of quality and professionalism.Our guide René picked us up at our hotel and shared anecdotes with us throughout the car ride to our destination, and on the way back, he gave us very good recommendations for restaurants. Isabelle had booked a French-language tour of the Laura plantation and notified me of a date change as soon as she knew about it, so that I could plan ahead.I recommend Tours By Isabelle with my eyes closed!

This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to New Orleans! We had so much fun, and it honestly felt like we were getting to experience a real Louisiana family tradition instead of just going on another tour. We learned all about the culture behind Cajun seafood boils and how they bring families and communities together, and even got to pull up crab traps off the dock and add the crabs to our boil! Such a cool experience!The guides were amazing and made everyone feel so welcome. You could tell they genuinely love what they do, and their passion for sharing their lifestyle really shines through. The boat ride was beautiful, the food was delicious, and there was so much great conversation throughout the entire experience. If you're looking for something that feels authentic and gives you a true taste of Louisiana culture, I can't recommend this enough!

Chris was very knowledgeable. But even better, he made the ghost encounter fun. My fiancé had an experience with something touching his foot when everyone else had stepped away in one of the rooms at the Andrew Jackson Hotel. I enjoyed that we actually went in the places we visited. We seemed to communicate with 3 ghosts at the other house we went in via the equipment we used. It was a very different and interesting experience compared to other tours I have been on.

Miss Jill did an amazing job with this tour. She was incredibly patient with the kids and the material was perfect for the target audience. My daughter learned a lot and I was happy she was getting well researched and fact based information delivered in a way she could understand and process (even though some topics are difficult for kiddos to get). We loved the tour so much, we booked the tween ghost tour with Miss Chelsea the next day and loved it as well! I cannot recommend this company strongly enough if you are traveling with kiddos.
