We loved the food, the stories, the live music, and the atmosphere. It felt like so much more than just a meal.We’ve been coming to New Orleans for the last decade and have done just about every tour and experience you can think of and this one was one of my favorites.Grey sources fresh ingredients locally and prepares them with so much care. Before the main menu, you get to taste several different dishes. Every course was fantastic, and Greg’s stories about the food were fun, interesting, and made the whole experience special.It was such a lovely, intimate setting. (Slow season) Zarina and Stanley were wonderful entertainers with amazing voices.Highly recommend! And definitely bring your appetite. You will be VERY well fed! 😂

Today, my family and I had the absolute pleasure of going on a citywide tour with Quay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!From the very beginning, Quay was incredibly kind, welcoming, and brought such amazing energy. I’ve been on a New Orleans city tour before, but somehow Quay introduced us to historical places, stories, and moments that I had never even heard of or knew happened here. His knowledge of New Orleans and its history was truly impressive, and you could tell that he genuinely loves what he does.One of my favorite parts of the tour was seeing how many people knew Quay along the way. Everywhere we went, people greeted him by name with huge smiles, and it honestly made us feel like we were locals rather than tourists. He made the entire experience feel personal, authentic, and full of that New Orleans spirit.He also took some AMAZING pictures of my family and me, which was such a thoughtful bonus and gave us memories we’ll be able to keep from the trip.We enjoyed Quay’s energy, personality, and passion so much that my family and I will be back tomorrow night to see him play some Jazz on Frenchmen Street to conclude our trip!If you EVER have the opportunity to take a tour with Quay, DO IT! I highly recommend, I can promise you will not be disappointed. He made our experience so memorable, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Justin was a fantastic guide. We learned so much on the tour and had fun as well!! The pace was easy and there was a lot to see. The bikes were comfortable and 3 gears is all you need because the terrain is flat. We think this was the best way to experience the Garden District!

Quay was an amazing tour guide! I learned a lot about the culture and history of New Orleans. My favorite parts were the Musician’s Village, beautiful architectures and murals, and music bars like The Spotted Cat. We also stopped by the city park area and ate beignets at Cafe Du Monde, which were delicious! Lastly, we got a glimpse of the French Quarter through Bourbon St. which looked so fun. I definitely recommend him and this tour!

Brian was a great guide. He is both an author and a lover of history, and we learned a lot about New Orleans and the French Quarter during our time with him. The Sidewalk Food Tours team gave us input into the foods and locations we would visit, and the process for a private tour was flexible on timing as well. It was just the kind of intro to the Quarter that we were seeking. There is one change I would make with a do-over… I would evaluate the food options for both French Quarter and Garden District before making a decision on which tour to book. There could be more variety of options in the Garden tour. While Gumbo and Jambalaya have some significant differences, they are also very similar, and combining them in two hours is kind of heavy on rice, chicken and andouille sausage.
