Our East Village tour begins at one of New York's donut institutions, The Donut Pub on Broadway near Astor Place. The Donut Pub has been around for decades and serves some of the best old-school donuts in New York City, a delicious, nostalgic start to the day.
From here, we'll stroll down to Great Jones Street in NoHo for a fantastic Italian baked treat at Il Buco Alimentari, as your guide shares stories of old New York and the music history of the neighborhood, including CBGB and the Bowery.
We'll finish past The Cooper Union and lively St. Mark's Place at La Cabra, a Danish bakery with a devoted following. Their buttery, beautifully crafted pastries, including their famous cardamom buns, make an amazing, unforgettable finale.
